Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

Noosaga is operated by Axel Pond ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Noosaga for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

Nousfarer: The Idea Expanse is Noosaga’s main experience: a 3D game for exploring fields of knowledge and studying the ideas within them. It includes institute lessons and quiz trials, Copilot expeditions, explorer customization, museum collections, and multiplayer play.

Noosaga’s Atlas provides the underlying taxonomy, curricula, articles, quizzes, saved expeditions, and learning progress. Direct Atlas browsing and content-review features also form part of the service. Noosaga is provided for educational, informational, and recreational use. Nousfarer is currently in Early Access Beta.

3. AI-Assisted Learning

AI helps generate and organize field overviews, framework articles, curricula, concept explanations, quiz questions, and custom Copilot plans. Generated learning material is stored and reused; viewing an article again does not mean it has been newly generated or reviewed. Custom Copilot plans are automated and are not read by a person before you see them.

Automated validation, source lookups, and AI review can identify some problems but cannot establish accuracy or educational quality. Those judgments require reading the actual material. Do not assume every article or quiz has received manual review. Passing a trial or earning a reward records game progress, not professional or academic certification.

4. Accounts and Access

Some features support guest access; others require sign-in to create custom expeditions or maintain account-linked progress and rewards. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Guest play should not be treated as saved account progress.

We may suspend, restrict, or remove access if we reasonably believe an account is being used to abuse the service, evade rate limits, compromise security, violate law, or violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. Contact us if you believe an access restriction is mistaken.

5. User Submissions and Processing License

You retain rights in content you submit. By submitting learning goals, questions, preparation details, corrections, feedback, source suggestions, review replies, or other content, you grant Noosaga a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, transform, display, and create outputs from that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, moderate, debug, and improve Noosaga and the feature you requested.

You confirm that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit the content. Do not submit confidential third-party material, regulated personal data, or copyrighted material unless you are authorized to do so and the submission is lawful. AI-assisted requests may be processed by OpenRouter and configured model providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use and Multiplayer Conduct

• Do not disrupt the service, scrape or overload endpoints, bypass rate limits, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not submit malware, credentials, secrets, private keys, or material designed to compromise systems.
• Do not harass other players, impersonate someone, deceive, spam, infringe rights, or break applicable law.
• Do not manipulate matches, completion records, or reward requests to obtain results or access you have not earned through ordinary play.
• Do not share another person’s private or sensitive information without authority and a lawful basis.
• Preserve AI-disclosure, attribution, source, and provenance notices when sharing content where required by applicable law or license terms.

7. High-Impact Use Restrictions

Noosaga is not designed, validated, or authorized for high-impact decision-making about people. You must not use its outputs as the basis for decisions about admissions or grading, employment, worker management, credit, insurance, housing, healthcare, immigration, law enforcement, criminal justice, biometric identification, emotion recognition, social scoring, or access to essential services, or in other contexts where an error could materially affect a person’s rights, safety, opportunities, or legal position.

You must not use Noosaga for AI practices prohibited by applicable law. These Terms do not authorize regulated high-risk deployments or establish compliance with the EU AI Act or other laws. Noosaga is an educational exploration platform, not a certified decision system.

8. Public Content and Review Areas

Atlas Review threads, replies, and some source-suggestion or feedback workflows may create public content or moderation records. Other players can also see the information the multiplayer interface makes visible, such as your player identity and in-session activity. Keep private or confidential information out of public submissions.

We may edit, remove, reject, anonymize, lock, or retain public-review content to moderate abuse, preserve discussion history, protect legal rights, or comply with applicable law. Public posts may be anonymized rather than removed when account-linked data is deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property and Collections

Noosaga’s branding, original site content, interface, code, and original game assets are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party artworks, scans, models, textures, audio, sources, and reference material remain subject to their own rights and licenses. Public-domain material remains public domain.

Collecting or displaying a work in your ship’s museum does not transfer copyright in that work or its digital reproduction. Before reusing material outside the game, check the applicable license and attribution requirements. Access to an asset through Noosaga does not grant rights beyond those provided by its license or applicable law.

10. Changes, Progress, and Availability

Nousfarer is evolving. Destinations, curricula, quiz content, multiplayer courses, collections, and other features may be updated, corrected, limited, suspended, or discontinued as the service develops, subject to applicable law. Changes to learning material can affect what is available when you revisit an institute.

We aim to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, that an opponent or prepared course will always be available, or continued compatibility with every earlier generated output. Saved expeditions and progress are application records, not a guarantee that a particular course or beta feature will remain unchanged.

Updates to these Terms will be reflected in the date above. We will provide notice of changes where required by applicable law. Nothing in this section removes mandatory rights relating to service changes, availability, or your account data.

11. Disclaimer and Liability

Noosaga is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. AI-assisted content can be incomplete, outdated, biased, or wrong. Noosaga does not provide legal, medical, financial, engineering, safety, tax, mental-health, or other professional advice. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable EU, Member State, UK, consumer, or data protection law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law applicable where the controller is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.
