What this is

Nousfarer is a free browser game for exploring fields of knowledge. It is in Early Access Beta, so things will change, break and get fixed. Features, lessons and progress can change or be removed as the game develops, and we can’t promise it will always be available.

AI-assisted lessons can be wrong

Lessons, quizzes and Copilot routes are drafted with AI and not all of them have been checked by a person. Treat them as a starting point and check anything important against reliable sources. Passing a trial is game progress, not a qualification, and nothing here is professional advice. See Trust & Provenance.

Play fair

• Be decent to other players: no harassment, impersonation or spam.
• Don’t try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to the service.
• Don’t cheat matches, progress or rewards.
• Don’t share other people’s private information, or anything illegal.

We can limit or remove access for anyone who does. If you think that happened to you by mistake, get in touch.

Your content and your account

What you type, such as Copilot questions and reports, stays yours. You let us use it only to run the feature you asked for and to keep the service working. You are responsible for your account.

Artworks and other material

The museum’s artworks, scans and models come from many creators and keep their own licenses. Collecting one in the game doesn’t give you rights to it; check its license before reusing it elsewhere. The Nousfarer™ and Noosaga™ names, and our own code and design, are ours. The rights and reuse notice has the details.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is, without warranties, and we aren’t liable for losses from using it, as far as the law allows. None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you live elsewhere, you keep the consumer protections of your own country. If the terms change in a way that matters, the date above will change and we’ll say so on the site.
